ASC Summer

The Arts & Sciences Center is proud to bring another summer of engaging classes to our area’s students with free enrollment and lunch provided.

This year’s ASC Summer Program is intentionally designed as an 8-day commitment with older youth in mind, creating space for middle and high school students to explore real skills, creative disciplines, and hands-on learning with experienced practitioners.

Our facilitators bring rich experience in their respective fields, offering:

  • Ceramics: Wheel + Hand-Building

  • Cooking: Global + 100% Plant-Based

  • Māla: Garden-Based Learning

  • Mixed Media Art

  • Real-World Skills Lab

  • Sashiko: Japanese Embroidery

  • Screen Printing

  • Short Film Creation & Editing

  • Skateboarding

  • STEAM: Place-Based Arts & Sciences

Each day is structured into three 90-minute learning blocks, allowing students to fully engage without feeling rushed.

  • Students join a consistent small group for each block across the week

  • Each block focuses on a different subject area

  • Groups shift between blocks, creating variety across the day

  • In Week 2, students may rotate into new subjects and new groupings
