A State-of-the-Art Comprehensive Facility,
Designed in Partnership with the Hawaii Academy of Arts & Science Public Charter School
The ASC campus will expand to offer:
A community gathering & performing space
An educational institution focusing on agriculture; with farm-to-table & entrepreneurial components
An inclusive Arts & Sciences Center, encompassing shops for fabrication & design for business incubation, as well as community educational opportunities
Already in the works:
Master plan to be completed Fall 2025
Land planning & special use permits to be completed Fall 2025
Potable Water, Fire & infrastructure designs complete
Intersection design determined and coordinated with Dept. of Water for waterline extension
Ironwoods in center of property removed for preliminary grading
Larger designated office space for ASC staff, summer ‘25
Engineering completed for Water and Septic
Grading permit and land work for Phase A, Summer 2025
Additional Parking/Secure area for state vehicles
Future Phases:
Phase I (2026): Infrastructure: grading, laying utilities, roads, parking lots, septics, waste water disposal
Phase II (2027): Community Center, theatre space, 4 lab for arts, sculpture, science, engineering
Phase III (2030): High School classrooms, Workplace Readiness classroom , administration building
Phase IV (2032): Elementary classrooms, 8-12 units, covered playcourt, parking & entry/exit expansion
